INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE (INCL. CARD SORTING)

Information architecture, as the name indicates, is a technical approach to both information system architecture and system interfaces.

What is Information Architecture?

In the framework of creating Information Architecture we design flow diagrams, technical distribution of interfaces together with specifications such as: the seize of the objects, objects behaviour, typography, preferred colouring.

How does Uselab do that?

On the stage of creating the Information Architecture we use tools for prototyping such as Axure, Visio, Omni Graffle, providing the customer thoroughly planned system interfaces together with the specification.

In the framework of the project we deliver systems or interfaces diagrams e.g. dfd, uml.

When to use Information Architecture?

The use of Information Architecture is a key factor when working on any system projects, in situations when we design the systems from the very beginning and when from the beginning we deliver so called book that is guidelines for the future development of the system.
